Abstract
A method including receiving a first alert message from a first mobile device via a first short-range wireless transceiver included in a plurality of short-range wireless transceivers installed at respective fixed locations in a facility; determining a first location for the first mobile device based on a location of the first short-range wireless transceiver and a signal strength between the mobile device and the first short-range wireless transceivers; and notifying a responding party that an emergency event occurred at the first location.
