Abstract
A method of treating a person's skin comprising topically applying to skin a composition that includes an effective amount of a hydrolyzed algae extract that includes an exopolysaccharide from Halymenia durvillei and an effective amount of an exopolysaccharide from Vibrio alginolyticus. Topical application of the composition can decrease skin permeability, increase filaggrin production, increase skin moisture, increase occludin production, and/or decrease TNF-α production.
