Abstract
An electrolyte for a secondary battery, the electrolyte including: an organic solvent; and a lithium ion conductive solid electrolyte represented by the formula LiaPbSc wherein 3<a<5, 1<b<3, and 6<c<8, and wherein at least a portion of the solid electrolyte is dissolved in the organic solvent.
