Abstract
A delivery device for delivering a stent-valve to an anatomical site for implantation, the delivery device comprising a stent-holder (24) having at least one element for engaging the stent-valve for retaining an axial position of the stent-valve when carried on the delivery device, the element selected from a projection (84b) and/or a generally step-shaped surface, and wherein the element further comprises a ramp portion (84a, 84c) facing, or provided on a side of the element that faces, (i) a proximal direction of the device, and/or (ii) away from a distal end of the device.
