Abstract
In a state monitoring of a storage battery, accuracy of estimation of the remaining service life of the storage battery can be improved by monitoring the state of the storage battery and distinguishing an initial failure and an accidental failure from degradation over time. A storage battery state monitoring system which monitors a state of each of a plurality of storage batteries connected in series and constituting an assembled battery provided in an apparatus, the system includes a control/power supply device which detects a current in each of the storage batteries, and a slave device which measures an operation time, a temperature, a voltage, and an internal resistance of each of the storage batteries, the internal resistance being measured at at least two or more kinds of frequencies, and in a state that is not normal in each of the storage batteries is determined by distinguishing an initial failure or an accidental failure from degradation over time based on at least one or more values of the temperature, the voltage, and the internal resistance measured by the slave device and a direct current resistance of each of the storage batteries obtained from a ratio between a chang…
