Abstract
The present invention involves a method of preparing Mirabilitum Praeparatum by pure strain fermentation and its application in treating infectious and inflammatory diseases, as well as health products and cosmetics. The method involves blending the ripe fruit (watermelon) of Citrullus Ianatus (Thunb.) Matsum. et Nakai with mirabilitum (Na2SO4.10H2O) according to a certain ratio as culture media and the pure strain Penicillium rubens as zymocyte, and then fermenting under a certain temperature. The Mirabilitum Praeparatum prepared by present method is different from that of prepared by traditional technology significantly, and the present invention possesses more advantages than the traditional method. The Mirabilitum Praeparatum prepared by present method, its extract shows powerful antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activities, which can be prepared into pharmaceutical preparations to treat infectious diseases of mucous membrane and skin, such as cavum oris ulcer, paradentosis, glossitis, rhinitis, laryngopharyngitis, dermatitis, otitis media, uterine cervicitis, kysthitis, and other health products and cosmetics.
