Abstract

The present invention concerns compounds of formula (I), enantiomers, mixture of enantiomers, diastereoisomers and mixture of diasteroisomers thereof formula (I): wherein at least one of W, X and Y is selected from the group consisting of —NR1R2; —NR3—(CH2)n—NR4R5; —O—(CH2)n—NR4R5; —NR3—(CH2)n—N′R6R7R8; and —O—(CH2)n—N′R6R7R8 and Z is a functional group capable of chelating iron salts. The present invention also concerns the compounds of formula (I) for use as a drug, in particular, in the treatment of cancer and malaria.
