Abstract

The present invention provides a polycarbonate resin containing a repeating unit represented by formula (A) in the amount of 1-99.5 wt %, the polycarbonate resin also containing an oligomer having a specific structure in a total amount that constitutes a content of 2.5 wt % or lower. (In formula (A), R1 and R2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a phenyl group, a C1-6 alkyl group, or a C1-6 alkyloxy group).
