Abstract

There is proposed a method and an apparatus for rapidly rotating whiskbroom imaging with a super large breadth. The method includes: step 1 of calculating a breadth L1 of a flight direction; step 2 of setting a critical value of a distance L2 between centers of an optical axis of the detector on a track of the subsatellite point on a surface of the earth at two times of imaging as being the breadth L1 of the flight direction; and step 3 of calculating a spin velocity threshold of the detector in the direction along the orbit and setting spin velocity of the detector in the direction along the orbit as being larger than or equal to the threshold.
