Abstract
In one embodiment, a system and apparatus are provided comprising: a first node configured to receive information that identifies a path from a first node to a second node; and generate a set of segment identifiers, wherein the set of segment identifiers encodes the path and each segment identifier within the set of segment identifiers is included in one or more respective tables stored at each segment routing enabled node along the path.
