Abstract
The present disclosure relates to beam configuration methods and apparatus. One example method include receiving, by a terminal, beam configuration information from a network device, where the beam configuration information is used to instruct the terminal to transmit a signal by using a first beam, and transmitting, by the terminal, the signal by using at least the first beam when a first preset duration starting from a time point expires, where the first time point is a time point at which the terminal sends an acknowledgement (ACK) message for the beam configuration information to the network device.
