Abstract
The present invention relates to a pigmented matte coating composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of a) phosphorus acid functionalized polymer particles; b) TiO2 particles; c) polymeric organic microspheres; and d) a rheology modifier. The composition of the present invention gives matte finish coatings having the stain and scrub resistant attributes similar to coatings formed from semi-gloss paint compositions.
