Abstract
The methods comprise, for example, the motorized cutting and the collection of at least a portion of the sphagnum moss, in which the cutting is carried out at least in a direction substantially parallel to the ground. The disclosure also describes sphagnum moss cutting units and systems for harvesting sphagnum moss.
