Abstract
A polycarbonate-polysiloxane includes specific amounts of first carbonate units having the structure wherein R1 is a C6-C16 divalent aromatic group, second carbonate units having the structure wherein R2 is a C17-C40 divalent aromatic group having the structure wherein Rf, Rg, Rh, Ri, Rj, Rk, Xb, j, m, n, x, and y are defined herein. The polycarbonate-polysiloxane is useful for forming thin extruded films, which in turn are useful for fabricating electrostatic film capacitors.
