Abstract
A process and a kit-of-parts for dyeing keratinous material, such as human hair, are provided. An exemplary process for dyeing keratinous material includes applying an agent (a) to the keratinous material. Agent (a) includes (a1) at least one organic silicon compound selected from the group consisting of silanes having one, two or three silicon atoms, and (a2) at least one first colorant compound comprising at least one pigment based on a lamellar substrate platelet. The method further includes applying an agent (b) to the keratinous material. Agent (b) includes (b1) at least one film-forming polymer, and (b2) at least one second colorant compound selected from the group consisting of pigments and/or direct dyes.
