A solid-state ion conductor including a compound of Formula 1: Li(3+2y1)B(P1-y1A1y1O4)2 Formula 1 wherein, in Formula 1, A1 is an element of Groups 4, 14, or a combination thereof, and has an oxidation state of +4, and 0<y1<1.
