Abstract

A product containing an intelligent control provides increased safety and reliability, wherein the product contains an active component, wherein the active component is adapted to monitor or control the use of the component, wherein the active component is adapted to send data to and/or receive data from a distributed database. A method of manufacturing, a machine containing the product, and a computer program product are provided.
