Abstract
Disclosed is an auxiliary mounting device and a mounting method for a saddle-type window air conditioner. Two groups of mutually connected L-shaped main supports and L-shaped auxiliary supports are included. Main transverse supports are connected with auxiliary transverse supports, an upper surface formed after the main transverse supports are connected with the auxiliary transverse supports is a plane, and a connecting part of a saddle-type window air conditioner is located on the plane. The main transverse supports and the auxiliary transverse supports can move relative to each other, so that a distance between main vertical supports and auxiliary vertical supports is adjustable for adaptation to windows with different sizes, and that the applicability is strong. During mounting, the main transverse supports and the auxiliary transverse supports are located at an upper portion of a windowsill respectively, the main vertical supports are located on an outer side of a wall below the windowsill, and the auxiliary vertical supports are located on an inner side of the wall below the windowsill.
