Abstract
A device (1) for manipulating an object (3), wherein the object (3) is movable contactlessly on a drive surface by at least one mover (4) which is magnetically coupled to a stator arrangement (5). The drive surface (7) is configured as a sealed border, in particular as a boundary wall (8), of a protected interior (9). The use of such a flexible device (1) is preferably of interest in the foodstuff industry or pharmaceutical industry, but is not restricted to these sectors.
