Abstract

An organic electroluminescence device includes a first electrode, a hole transport region provided on the first electrode, an emission layer provided on the hole transport region, an electron transport region provided on the emission layer, and a second electrode provided on the electron transport region. The emission layer includes a nitrogen-containing compound. The nitrogen-containing compound includes a triazine moiety and a carbazole moiety. In the carbazole moiety, at least one position among 2, 3 and 7 is substituted; each of positions 2 and 7 is substituted or unsubstituted with a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted carbazole group; and position 3 is substituted or unsubstituted with a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group.
