Abstract
A radome system includes an access panel having an upper end including an upper latch and a lower end including a lower latch. The radome system further includes a frame system including a first mounting frame positioned adjacent the upper end of the access panel and a second mounting frame positioned adjacent the lower end of the access panel. The upper end of the access panel is hindgedly connected to the first mounting frame and the lower end of the access panel is hingedly connected to the second mounting frame for hingedly connecting the access panel to the frame system. The first mounting frame includes an upper latch receiver for removably securing the upper end of the access panel to the first mounting frame, and the second mounting frame includes a lower latch receiver for removably securing the lower end of the access panel to the second mounting frame.
