Abstract
An image capture apparatus, remotely controllable by an operation apparatus, includes an image capturing unit capturing an image, a communication unit communicating with the operation apparatus, an image processing unit detecting an object in the image, and a control unit performing framing control of the image including the object, based on a framing operation from the operation apparatus, after the communication unit transmits the image to the operation apparatus, and a delay acquisition unit acquiring a delay time in the communication processing. The image processing unit calculates a framing control amount based on a predicted movement amount of the object in the delay, an actual movement amount of the object before and after the delay, and a framing operation amount from the operation apparatus. The control unit performs the framing control based on the framing control amount, and the delay acquisition unit acquires the delay time, before shooting, in advance.
