Abstract

A sanitary outflow unit (1) to be used in a water dispensing device (20), having a water supply (3) and a water outlet (4), which sanitary outflow unit includes at least one holding element (11) that can be switched between a release position and a holding position, wherein, in the holding position, a peripheral contour (18) of the sanitary outflow unit (1) is enlarged by the holding element (11). The holding element (11) includes in particular a bending element (12) having a holding lug (13) which, in the holding position of the holding element (11), engages behind a wall (22) of an installation opening (21) in the water dispensing device (20).
