Abstract
The present application discloses an overdrive device and method, and relates to the field of display control technology. The overdrive device comprises: a first determination module for determining a basic overdrive value of a target pixel unit according to a basic overdrive lookup table and a first gray scale value and a second gray scale value of the target pixel unit, wherein the basic overdrive lookup table is a set of data pre-stored in a storage module for determining the basic overdrive value, the first gray scale value is a display gray scale value of a current frame of the target pixel unit, and the second gray scale value is a display gray scale value of a previous frame of the target pixel unit; a second determination module for determining an overdrive gain value corresponding to a target refresh frequency, wherein the target refresh frequency is a current refresh frequency of a display apparatus where a target pixel unit is located; and a processing module for obtaining an actual overdrive value required for performing an overdrive operation on the target pixel unit according to the basic overdrive value, the overdrive gain value, the first gray scale value and the se…
