Abstract

Systems and methods for a multi-vehicle charging station are provided. In one embodiment, a method includes identifying a charging station configured to provide a host vehicle a charge according a host vehicle charging schedule. The method also includes identifying a proximate vehicle based on a charging distance between the proximate vehicle from the charging station. The method further includes transmitting a cooperation request to the proximate vehicle. The method yet further includes receiving a proximate vehicle charging schedule from the proximate vehicle. The method includes generating a cooperative charging schedule based on a comparison of the host vehicle charging schedule and the proximate vehicle charging schedule. The method also includes transmitting the cooperative charging schedule to the charging station.
