Abstract

Provided is an analysis method that enables simple analysis of the degree of hydrogenation of a hydrogenated diene polymer. The present disclosure relates to a method of analyzing the degree of hydrogenation of a hydrogenated diene polymer using infrared absorption spectroscopy, the method including use of a calibration curve represented by the following equation (1): 2H−Vin=aA2915+b where H is the degree of hydrogenation (%) of a hydrogenated diene polymer, Vin is the vinyl percentage (%) of the hydrogenated diene polymer, A2915 is the peak intensity of a peak attributed to CH2 antisymmetric stretching vibration, and a and b are each a constant.
