Abstract

An organic light emitting diode, a manufacturing method thereof, a display substrate and a display apparatus are disclosed. The organic light emitting diode includes: a first electrode and a second electrode opposite to each other; and a first hole transport layer, a first electron blocking layer, a blue emission layer, at least one first hole blocking layer, and a first electron transport layer, which are between the first electrode and the second electrode and sequentially arranged in a direction approaching the second electrode, wherein a total thickness of all the at least one first hole blocking layer is greater than a thickness of the first electron blocking layer.
