Abstract
A method may include receiving equipment parameters of the PV power plant including PV parameters of one or more PV arrays and inverter parameters of one or more inverters, and generating a prediction of the output of the PV power plant by generating a prediction of an output of the one or more PV arrays based on the PV parameters and environmental factors including solar irradiance and weather, selecting a first inverter response curve from a first set of inverter response curves and a second inverter response curve from a second set of inverter response curves, and generating, using the first inverter response curve, the second inverter response curve, the one or more of the environmental factors, and the prediction of the output of the one or more PV arrays, a prediction of the output of the one or more inverters.
