Abstract
A system is provided that includes a solvent source; a canister adapted to contain plant material and positioned downstream of the solvent source; an extract container positioned for receiving and collecting at least a portion of an extract solution from at least the canister, the extract container further positioned to separate at least a portion of the solvent from at least the portion of the extract solution, thereby providing a recycled solvent; a solvent collection line for directing the recycled solvent; and a coolant line positioned for directing coolant that is thermally coupled to at least a portion of the solvent collection line for cooling the recycled solvent that is flowing through the solvent collection line.
