Abstract
A composition that prevents or slows the appearance of blemishes associated with inflammation of the skin and/or scalp, includes per 100% by mass: a) 60.0%-75.0% by mass of an organic solvent chosen from 1,2-propanediol, 1,3-propanediol, 1,4-butanediol, 1,3-butanediol, 1,2-butanediol, 2-methyl-2,4-pentanediol, 1,6-hexanediol, 1,8-octanediol, or a blend of the above compounds; b) 0.1%-2.0% by mass of a composition including a mass quantity x1, expressed as mass equivalent of 1-O-(2-caffeyol)maloyl-3,5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid, greater than or equal to 200 mg/g of a compound of general formula (I):
