Abstract

A compound of Formula I, or Formula II, is provided. In Formulae I and II, M is Pt or Pd; each RA, RA′, RA″, RB, R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 is hydrogen or one of the General Substituents; R1′ is one of the General Substituents; at least one of RA′, RA″, and RB is not hydrogen; any two of RA, RA′, RA″, RB, R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 may be joined or fused together to form a ring; and RA′, RA″, and RB together comprise at least one heterocyclic group or at least two carbocyclic groups; with the proviso that at least one of RA′ and RA″ comprises a cyclic group when RB is one of five specific moieties.
