Abstract

A display module includes a transparent cover plate, an optical adhesive layer, a display panel and a backlight module arranged sequentially. A side edge of the display module includes a first contour edge on a same side as a first side edge of the display panel on the display module and a plurality of second contour edges other than the first contour edge. The display module further includes a side adhesive, and the side adhesive is arranged on a side of at least one of the second contour edges away from a center of the display panel. The side adhesive extends from the transparent cover plate to the backlight module, and the side adhesive is adhered to a side surface of the display panel, a side surface of the backlight module and a side surface of the transparent cover plate facing the display panel.
