Abstract

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for the prevention of color leakage in Field Sequential Display while maintaining display brightness. In a first aspect, a method of signal processing includes receiving a first frame of a first color of image data; selecting a modified first frame of the first color by applying a recursive filter to the first frame, wherein the recursive filter is associated with at least one previous frame of a second color different from the first color; and selecting first pixel drive values associated with the modified first frame.
