Abstract
There are described compounds of formula I, ##SPC1## in which PA1 R.sub.5, r.sub.6, r.sub.7 and R.sub.8, which may be the same or different, are hydrogen, alkyl, halogen, hydroxy, alkenyl, phenyl, alkenyloxy, aralkyl, acyloxy or alkoxy; the alkoxy optionally being substituted by alkoxy, hydroxy, or a heterocyclic ring containing carbon and oxygen; the alkyl, alkenyl and alkoxy groups containing from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, and PA1 W is oxygen or sulphur, PA1 And pharmaceutically acceptable derivatives thereof. Certain of the compounds in which W is oxygen are excluded. The compounds of formula I are indicated for use in the treatment of asthma, and pharmaceutical compositions containing them and processes for their preparation are also described.
