Abstract

5-Bromo-ortho-cresotamide and N--C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 --alkyl-5-bromo-ortho-cresotamides are useful for the potentiation of aspirin. 5-Bromo-ortho-cresotamide may also be named 5-Bromo-2-hydroxy-3-methyl-benzamide.
