Abstract

There are described compounds of formula I, ##SPC1## in which PA1 R.sub.1, r.sub.2, r.sub.3, r.sub.4, r.sub.5 and R.sub.6, which may be the same or different, each represent hydrogen, halogen, hydroxy, alkyl C1 to 6, alkoxy C1 to 6, alkenyl C1 to 6; the alkyl and alkoxy groups optionally being substituted by hydroxy, alkoxy C1 to 6, halogen or phenyl, and PA1 X is a hydrocarbon group containing from 2 to 10 carbon atoms, which is optionally interrupted by an oxygen atom, and/or substituted by an -OH group, PA1 Ra is a group -COOH, or ##EQU1## and pharmaceutically acceptable derivatives thereof. There are also described methods of making the compounds and pharmaceutical, e.g. anti-allergic, compositions containing them.
