Abstract

Certain novel nitrofuran compounds of the formula: ##SPC1## Wherein PA1 Het is an aromatic heterocylic linkage; PA1 B is a bond or vinylene; PA1 Y is O or S; PA1 m is 0 or 1; PA1 X is hydrogen, lower alkyl or alkanoyl; and PA1 The R's are variously defined; Are outstandingly effective bacteriostats and bactericides.
