Novel biphenyl derivatives of the formula: ##SPC1## Wherein PA1 R.sub.1 is phenyl, furyl or thienyl; and PA1 R.sub.2 is carboxyl or tetrazolyl-(5); And the pharmacologically compatible salts thereof display outstanding diuretic and saluretic properties.
