Abstract
There are described compounds of formula I, ##SPC1## PA1 in which X is a saturated hydrocarbon group containing from 2 to 10 carbon atoms inclusive, and PA1 R is alkyl, phenyl, or phenyl substituted by one or more halogen or alkyl groups. There are also described processes for making the compounds and haematinic compositions containing them.
