Abstract
A method for improving the adhering ability of a vulcanized rubber surface by treating said surface with a solution of iodine isocyanate or a mixed solution of iodine isocyanate and iodine to provide a high adhering ability to said surface. The thus treated vulcanized rubber surface can be adhered strongly to other vulcanized rubber or the other various materials by contacting these materials tightly using an adhesive or without using an adhesive.
