Abstract

Disazo dyestuffs free of sulfonic acid groups of the formula ##SPC1## Are disclosed in which R.sub.1 is phenyl, alkyl phenyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl; R.sub.2 is chlorine, bromine, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy; R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 which can be either identical or different, are hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy; R.sub.5, R.sub.6 and R.sub.7, which can be either identical or different, are hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, halogen, carboxylic amide, carboxyl, or carboxylic ester; Y is hydroxyl or NR.sub.8 R.sub.9 ; R.sub.8 and R.sub.9 can be identical or different and are C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl optionally substituted by hydroxyl or nitrile, or benzyl; and n is 0, 1 or 2. The dyestuffs are used in dyeing N-containing fiber materials.
