Abstract

Compounds of the formula ##SPC1## Wherein R is H, heterocyclic thio; pyridinium; carbamoyloxy or acetoxy; Y is H, Cl, Br, NO.sub.2 or methylsulfonyl, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts and esters thereof are effective antibacterial agents.
