Abstract
The present invention relates to the new compounds of the formula EQU R--(CH.sub.2).sub.3 --(O--CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2).sub.n --O--(CH.sub.2).sub.3 --R wherein n is an integer having a value of 1 to 100 and R represents a radical of the formula Cl--H.sub.2 C--CH.sub.2 --CO--NH--CO--NH-- or preferably H.sub.2 C=CH--CO--NH--CO--NH--. The new compounds are useful for crosslinking hydrophilic colloids such as gelatine, particularly for crosslinking gelatine layers in photographic material.
