Abstract

This invention relates to gasoline compositions containing additives which are reaction products of a maleic anhydride of the formula ##EQU1## with a linear polyamine of the formula EQU H.sub.2 N--(CH.sub.2).sub.n -- NH].sub.m R' in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom and a monovalent hydrocarbon radical of 1 - 30 carbon atoms, R' is a monovalent aliphatic hydrocarbon radical having 6 - 30 carbon atoms, n is an integer from 3 to 10 and m is an integer from 1 to 10.
