Abstract
Method for determining, non-destructively, degradation of certain physical roperties of textile materials wherein a sample of the textile material is held under tension and caused to ring to generate acoustic signals and the frequency of the acoustic signal is compared with the frequency generated from a control of the same material, with any significant difference in frequency of response of the sample as compared with the control indicating a change in physical property.
