Abstract

A moisture proof safety container for pills and the like in which a drawer moves slidably in a rectangular cover, snap-locking closed by means of a latching mechanism comprising a hooked tongue which engages a small window in the upper left-hand corner of the cover. The drawer, including the hooked tongue, is guided into latching position with the cover by means of a fulcrum point located on the inside of the cover which bears against one side of the drawer. When the drawer is closed a small projection at the center of the cover seats on the bottom of the drawer, cooperating with a small bead around the rim of the drawer, and small feet in the corners, to produce a moisture proof seal.
