Abstract
New azolylamidines of the formula ##SPC1## Wherein PA1 n is an integer from 0 to 5, PA1 R.sup.1 is halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, haloalkoxy, haloalkylthio, halophenoxy or haloalkyl; PA1 R.sup.2 and R.sup.3, independently of one another, are each hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxyalkyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxy or alkoxycarbonylalkyl, of, preferably not more than 7 carbon atoms; or taken together, represent a lower alkylene bridge which can be interrupted by one or more hetero-atoms; and PA1 Az represents an azolyl radical selected from imidazol-1-yl, pyrrol-1-yl, pyrazol-1-yl, 1,2,4-triazol-1-yl, 1,2,4-triazol-4-yl or 1,2,3-triazol-1-yl, And their salts are outstandingly effective herbicides showing particularly selective action.
