Abstract

The thermosetting polymers and prepolymers of the invention are obtained by ondensing a pyridine comprising at least three methyl groups, such as trimethyl-2,4,6 pyridine, with an aromatic dialdehyde, such as trephthalic aldehyde at a temperature ranging from about 150.degree. to about 220.degree. C. They can be shaped and set by maintaining the temperature between about 200.degree. and about 300.degree. C. They are suitable for making laminates.
