Abstract

Amidothionophosphonic acid ester compounds of the formula: ##STR1## in which R is alkyl of from 1 to 6 carbon atoms or lower cycloalkyl; PA1 Y is hydrogen, halogen or alkyl or alkoxy of from 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and PA1 Z is nitro or cyano; Are outstandingly effective as herbicides and exhibit particularly selective action.
