Abstract

The preparation comprises a mixture of calcium chloride, a gel-forming polymer, and water. The calcium chloride is in solution in an aqueous gel of said gel-forming polymer. To produce the preparation, a mixture of calcium chloride, a gel-forming polymer, and water is heated to temperatures below 100.degree. C until said calcium chloride and said gel-forming polymer have been completely dissolved.
